Advanced Business Machines (ABM) offers a variety of letter openers and extractors for incoming mail processing. These machines eliminate the tedious process of opening and or extracting mail by hand, thus saving companies money spent on labor.

The Neopost 5001 letter protector’s compact design provides accurate and efficient opening for incoming mail. It is capable of opening envelopes as large as 9" x 12" and at speeds up to 200 letters per minute. The patented cutting system protects the document inside the envelope and eliminates waste.

The Neopost IM35 Mark II letter extractor opens the mail on three sides and extracts the contents at speeds of up to 2,000 pieces per hour. This machine is designed for the low to mid size company. It has three modes of operation; automatic extraction, semi-automatic extraction, and letter opener mode. The feeding system holds up to 300 envelopes of various sizes. Its proven envelope opening system reduces the chance of cutting documents. This machine automates the task of opening and extracting incoming mail.

The Ultra 2000 is available for high end extraction. This machine works at the speed of the operator. It can handle a variety of envelope sizes and thicknesses. After extracting documents, the machine verifies that envelopes are empty before discarding them. The reporting system collects detailed multi-operational, multi-job production statistics and the printer provides management reports.
